Marko Bobič, LL.M., Attorney-at-Law
I graduated at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana. During my studies, I also participated in numerous extra-curricular activities, actively pursued my sports activities and successfully completed a course focusing on the Basics of German Law at the Faculty of Law of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a student-exchange programme at the Faculty of Law in Seville, Spain. During my final year, I worked at the Secretariat-General of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, which was in charge of running Slovenia’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union. After completing my studies, I immediately started working as an Attorney-at-Law. I completed my pupillage/apprenticeship and subsequently worked as a prospective entrant in one of the most renowned law firms in Ljubljana. During this period, I also completed my judicial traineeship at the Ljubljana Higher Court and passed the Administrative Procedure Exam. After passing the Bar Exam, I continued to work at the law firm as a prospective entrant and later enrolled in a post-graduate course in the United Kingdom, where I obtained my Master of Laws in the field of Competition Law (LL.M.) at the University College London.
During my professional career, I focused mainly on civil and commercial law, but I also possess vast experience in tort actions and proceedings for damages, and in providing legal representation of clients before courts and similar bodies. I represented and provided counsel to numerous well-known Slovene and foreign companies. When necessary, I also cooperate with foreign law firms. I regularly publish expert papers and participate in professional training courses and various workshops, where I also frequently give lectures and talks.
Apart from Slovene, I am also fluent in English, German, Croatian and Serbian languages.
Jure Vozel – univ. dipl. prav.
After graduating from the Bežigrad general upper secondary school Jure began his studies at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana, where he graduated in September 2018. Currently, he is a postgraduate student at the same faculty. In addition to his regular study obligations, he attended the Pitamic competition in constitutional law and competition in commercial law – Legal solution. Moreover, in 2017 he attended a lengthy professional excursion in New York and Washington where he visited numerous institutions, including the United Nations Office, the New York State Bar Association, the World Bank and the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Washington, attended meetings with distinguished judges, lawyers and diplomats and monitored some civil and criminal hearings. Furthermore, in 2018, he organized a five-month project – Legal Guide for Foreign Investors, where he based his research on the acquisition of the company through financial restructuring in the compulsory settlement procedure.
Prior to commencing work at the law office Bobič, he worked as an expert advisor in sales and afterwards he worked in a renowned financial institution where he dealt mainly with factoring and chain compensations.
Apart from Slovenian he is fluent in English and can speak and understand German and Croatian.
